Arguably, the best part of this on-trend bar is watching the unique blend of bartender skill and cutting edge technology at play — crafting cocktails that seem right at home in a mad scientist’s lab. The Asian-inspired bar food line up is also spot on — boasting a solid menu full of bao, dumplings and more.
You can’t beat asolid fish and chips joint after a few hours of party-busing around town. Listen to some live music, have a bite to eat and wash it all down with some cheap, cold brews. If you’re still in the party mode (it never stops, does it?), the real deal here is the $6 beer and a shot combo.
Just because you can’t technically call a bar in Northern Virginia a bar, it doesn’t mean there’s no place for a party bus nightlife tour. Atmosphere is everything, and Virtue’s won’t leave you wanting for more. You’ll find old school medicine bottles, measuring cups and droppers peppered around the cozy, converted warehouse bar.
Quirky-casual barcade, Galaxy Hut is a great destination if your party bus is passing through the Arlington area. Covered in bright, cartoon-inspired artwork, this cool, low-key bar boasts 28 taps of rotating, seasonal beers and a throwback collection of arcade games. Play Pac-Man while sipping on an IPA or a dark, foamy craft brew.

A dedicated Scotch bar with an over-whelming selection of single-malts, this quirky, nautical-inspired bar is more than deserving of a stop on a party bus tour through Maryland’s nightlife spots. Make your selection by consulting a comprehensive Excel sheet of the bar’s impressive collection of Scotch. They’re color-coded according to region for a bit of guidance, but keep in mind, this place really means business when it comes to Scotch. Ordering on the rocks is a big no-no, in this cozy, yet no frills backroom bar.
